Saturday 31st January 2026: Homeward bound
We got up early to catch our first of four flights home. We thought we had an agreement with Vicente to take us to the airport, but when he didn't turn up, we went outside the gate and a cab/camioneta immediately picked us up. On the road up to the airport there were loads of tortoises lumbering along. At the pier to cross over the channel we saw Vicente but he said he didn't pick us up as we had not WhatsApp'd him.
