23/12/2019: Romney Manor
We had originally planned to go on a catamaran day trip to Nevis today but as it involved both a buffet and a BBQ we backed out. (Over fussy eater Joan strikes again.)
So after yet another lazy start we headed to the west coast of the island to the gardens of the former Romney Manor.
Brimstone Hill fort is quite imposing from below.
Romney Manor burnt down a few years ago and what is left is a fine garden and a workshop where local women print batik textiles.
Further down the coast they appear to be creating a new shoreline.
Then it was another trip to Rams. Kevin bought himself a beer or 12.
As night fell a trimaran moored off the coast from where we dined.
