Monday 20th January 2025: Lazy day in Tafi

After a long journey yesterday, we decided to have a lazy day.  The location of our accommodation is superb - a mere stone's throw from the main street.

Tafi does not feel like South America.  It has an alpine vibe and certainly feels well heeled.  The streets are paved and there are many shops selling regional goods.  We believe there was a plant based coffee shp at the other side of town but we did not want to commit to walking there without knowing it was open.

Always a plus for Joan, there was an extinct volcano.

In the supermarket we managed to find some plant based pumpkin Milanesa and some pommes noisette.

The cabana only had one pan so Joan microwaved the peas, sweetcorn and tomato sauce in the famous Souflee bowl.

Unfortunately the electric rings had less heat than a llama's breath and took ages to cook, but we got there in the end.

Kevin went to bed and Joan spoke with Margaret via WhatsApp.
